Burnaby Blues + Roots Festival is on Saturday, August 6, 2022.

Concert Admission

Main Gate – east side of the Shadbolt Centre

  • Saturday, August 6, 12 pm to 10 pm

West Gate – south of the Burnaby Art Gallery

  • Saturday, August 6, 12 pm to 6 pm

Will Call & Box Office:

  • Located at the Main Gate
  • Open at 11 am for ticket sales and pick-up


Portable washrooms and hand sanitization stations are available on site.

Cash Machines

ATM machines are available, but consider bringing cash to avoid lineups.

Food and Beverage

Food vendors will be onsite. Beer and wine service are also available. Please have 2 pieces of valid ID, including 1 photo ID if you wish to purchase alcohol. Outside alcohol is not permitted. Feel free to bring a reusable water bottle for use at our water filling stations. Food is permitted in soft-sided bags not larger than 18” x 12” x 12”. Glass bottles are not permitted on site.


Due to artist contracts, professional recording equipment will not be permitted onsite. Drones, video cameras and cameras with detachable lenses are prohibited.

Family area

A family activity area will be set up from 2 to 8 pm. Children must be supervised by a parent/guardian at all times. Alcohol is not permitted in the family area.

Security, first aid, lost and found

  • Security on site will be checking bags for prohibited items.
  • For first aid and medical services, please visit the first aid tent
  • For lost and found items, please visit the information tent


Dress for the weather—bring jackets, hats, sunglasses and sunscreen.

For the safety of all guests, please leave the following at home:

  • tents, tarps, wagons or umbrellas
  • weapons or anything that could be considered to be an offensive weapon (including knives of any kind)
  • frisbees or balls
  • animals (working service dogs are permitted)
  • flags, signs on sticks or banners
  • barbeques or fires
  • musical instruments
  • laser pointers
  • fireworks
  • alcohol
  • all smoking and vaping products
