ENTRANCE:
The site features two stages; the LAKE STAGE at the LAKE (south) end of the site and the GARDEN STAGE on the west side. The first performance is scheduled to take place on the GARDEN STAGE begins at 1:30pm.

GATES:
Main Gate: Open 12:30 - 9:00pm
West Gate: Open 12:30 - 6:00pm. After 6pm, patrons will have to proceed east to the Main Gate.

There will be two (2) entrances to the venue, both feeding from Deer Lake Ave. The Main Gate is located on the northeast side of the venue, next to the Shadbolt Centre. This gate will be open to patrons holding tickets, those purchasing tickets subject to availability and those picking up tickets at Ticketmaster Will Call. The West Gate is located on the northwest side of the venue and is restricted to ticket holders and Ticket Fast only. Pedestrian access to the West Gate is via the Burnaby Art Gallery parking lot (just west of Shadbolt Centre for the Arts).

WILL CALL:
If you have purchased your tickets through TICKETMASTER and have not picked up the tickets already - please try to pick them up in advance of the show at any Ticketmaster outlet. You will need your confirmation number and you MUST produce the credit card used to purchase the ticket(s) and ID. If you don’t have a chance to pick up your tickets in advance – Will Call will be located at the Main Gate.

WEATHER:
This is an outdoor venue - please be prepared for the weather as the show will happen - rain or shine. Hats, sunglasses and sunscreen are advised. You can check the weather forecasts at www.weatheroffice.gc.ca

SEATING:
Chairs are permitted and we thank you for considering fellow patrons when choosing your location on the site. Deer Lake Park is a general admission lawn seating environment and there are no reserved seats.
Please be aware that many people in our audience enjoy dancing to the music.

SPECIAL NEEDS SEATING:
If you have a physical disability or are mobility challenged, there is a small special needs seating area available on site – please contact Ticketmaster at 604-280-4444 with your confirmation number from your ticket order. They will make arrangements for you to sit in this area.

FESTIVAL FOOD:
There will be a variety of food and beverage options available. Food vendors accept cash only (ATM on site).

WATER:
Free drinking water will be available at two (2) different locations on site. Only COMMERCIALLY sealed plastic bottles of non alcoholic beverage will be permitted into the site.

WASHROOMS:
Only portable washrooms will be available on site as the Shadbolt Centre will be CLOSED on festival day.

PUBLIC PAY PHONE:
One public telephone is located at the Main Gate.

ATM:
ATMs will be available on site located on S. Plaza.

"ART'S HOME"
Kid's arts activity zone is open from 3:30 pm to 7:30pm. Children must be supervised by parent/guardian at all times. This tent is an alcohol and smoke free zone.

SMOKING ZONE:
In consideration of your fellow festival goers, it would be greatly appreciated if smoking is restricted to the designated smoking area on the site.

• NO INSTRUMENTS
• NO GLASS CONTAINERS OR CANS
• NO PROFESSIONAL CAMERAS OR VIDEO RECORDING EQUIPMENT
• NO UMBRELLAS
• NO TENTS OR TARPS
• NO BANNERS
• NO FRISBEES OR THROWING OBJECTS
• NO KNIVES OR NO WEAPONS
• NO LASER POINTERS
• ONLY WORKING DOGS PERMITTED ON SITE
• COMMERCIALLY SEALED PLASTIC BOTTLES OF NON-ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE WILL BE PERMITTED (UP TO ONE LITRE IN SIZE)
• NO BARBEQUES OR FIRES

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL ITEMS ARE SUBJECT TO SEARCH AT THE GATE. IN THE EVENT YOU CHOOSE TO REFUSE A SEARCH, YOU WILL BE DENIED ACCESS TO THE SITE.

IN OUT PRIVILEGES APPLY - IF YOU LEAVE AND PLAN TO RETURN, HAND STAMPS ARE REQUIRED BEFORE EXITING THE SITE.

Please be advised that in the interest of public safety, the RCMP plan to close Deer Lake Ave. to incoming traffic approximately 30 minutes before the festival ends. (9:30pm)

The closure will take effect at the intersections of Deer Lake Ave. and Deer Lake Parkway and Canada Way and Century Park Way. Traffic will be only be permitted to access Deer Lake Ave. westbound from the Canada Way and Deer Lake Ave. interesection .

We apologize for any inconveniences caused by the road closure but assure you it facilitates a safe site egress for pedestrians making their way back to their parked vehicles at points remote from the festival site.

The Lynch shuttle buses will be permitted access to pick up passengers in the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts North Lot and return them to BCIT.

Buses will also stop running on Deer Lake Ave. when this closure takes effect and riders should proceed to the bus stops on Canada Way just north Deer Lake Ave. or the Burnaby City Hall bus loop.
